Seasons

There are many seasons in a person's life. Every season leads to a different stage of growth for every part of theirselves, be it physcial, mental or spiritual. Just recently, I went through VBS, Vacation Bible School. Those two weeks have really opened my eyes to so many different things. The audio sermons they gave us, the Christian book we read and the sessions we had with Pastor How, Pastor Joakim and Pastor Tan Ye Peng.

Never have I seen God's revelation so clearly in my heart. Every season, I want to grow more and more. This season though, it's definitely about EVANGELISM!

That's right! Jayesslee is coming to Heart of God Church on the 1st of July 2012! It's gonna be exciting and I just know, many lives will be impacted by their testimony and led to salvation.

Another piece of exciting news is that Pastor Kong will be coming to visit this weekend! It's just so amazing, as the church grows, it starts to draw more and more speakers to come and prophesy and pray for it. We've received blessing after blessing after blessing from so many different powerful evangelistic speakers, I'm blessed by just being under such a presence.

I'm gonna learn so much more from these weeks to come. As we continue praying, we build our spirit man. I want to be found serving in the House for all eternity, never compromising His love for anything else. I know those are big words, but it is what drives me, it is my conviction! Jesus made 10 great exchanges on the cross for our sins, there is just no reason for us to leave Him. Just as Peter said, "where would we go?"

I pray for many seasons of blessing in the church and the CG, CM2 has come a long way, I just know we'll go further.

God bless you people, have a great day.
As school is starting, let's get ready to work harder with the seasons to come.

Thoughts.

Just this weekend, the church had an amazing speaker preach, Doctor John Avanzini. He is a very powerful and very wise man, very on fire for God too. His preachings hold a degree of depth in them, it's not as simple as just listening and getting it. But for the first time, I felt that there is more to it than meets the eye.

Did anyone ever had that feeling where you just know something is missing? Like you've just barely scratched the surface of understanding? I want to know more, I crave for the knowledge of which Doctor John speaks, because I want to be able to understand more of God's revelations to us in this world. Being able to preach a word that tells us how to prepare for Jesus's second coming to this world isn't an everyday sermon, it's not something anybody can preach any oh how. The sermon left me in thought, trying to break this uncertainty that I'm lacking understanding. But in the end, it's the truth, there are just too many things that I don't understand about God's word, His bible. I really need to start getting more and more knowledge to understand God better, to know Him better and to definitely rise up and improve in my walk with the Lord.

My spiritual life isn't lacking but it definitely isn't enough. There's more, there always is, always will be.

Faith to Believe.

This season, the church is gonna go through a major breakthrough, I can feel it. :) I've been so stressed out thinking about exams and all but its over, for now. I'm ever thankful to the Lord our God for blessing us. Truely we eat the fruits of our labour, if we fail to plan, we plan to fail.

I've been through quite some tough times of my own, insecurities, disappointment and all that. But through it all, it became an opportunity to grow closer to God. JO showed me through his words how powerful "I love you" can be. These three simple words can mean nothing or everything. Use them sparingly and only when you really mean it. It could change a person's life for the better or for worse.

I feel so blessed that I have such anointed leaders loving me and Pastors as well. Without the church, out lives would've been tattered and torn and God knows where we'd be. But God found me and I'm now living my best life. With my leaders, Pastors. CG and God.

I'm starting my BMT B soon, I really can't wait to serve God with the voice He gave us. The instrument God blessed us with. It's the most powerful instrument that we'll ever have. I'll use it to live my dream of being a worship leader, impacting and changing lives by bringing down His presence through the power of song. JO taught me, "a song are a bunch of words with a melody, and the bible says that the tongue is a powerful tool that either speaks life or speak death." I'll use my tongue to glorify Him and impact as many lives as I possibly can.

Friends, the church, and most importantly God, what more can I ask for? 6 points in my O leveles? Haha! :D I'll give it my all loving people like how JO and everyone else did and God did, at the same time doing well in my studies, "we can do well and do good" I will always believe in what Pastor How believes in, because Pastor How and Pastor Lia built the church BECAUSE they believe in US. If my Pastors believe in me, I'll do my best to make them proud. Loving people, loving life, loving God. :) Ministry is starting soon, I'm excited to be able to serve God even more, being able to grow stronger in Him. I'll learn every chance I can, so that I can rise up and be an asset to my CG and church.

This is the life I live and I'm VERY proud of it. No regrets, no strings attached. ;) Bye!

Lifesong.

Heya! It's like the 8th day of CNY and church was FLOODED on the 2nd! The devil must have been trying all sorts of knacks to try and stop us, he even got the water dragon to help him! Haha! Kidding, but church WAS flooded! I don't have photos, but it was BAD. :( Singpost is to blame I guess? Hmm... Singaporeans will be Singaporeans.

Anyway, for me, the 2nd day of CNY was spent at home! I didn't know about the flood, regrettably, but I've got photos! :D

These were taken during the 1st day of CNY where I went and watched........

Jack N Jill and We Not Naughty! Popular movies that deserved the ratings they did. They were great!

So anyway, on the 2nd day, like I said, it was spent at home where my family comes and visit me!

Hehehe! :D My family isn't THAT big, but it's still growing! I'm getting older..... D: Oh well~

On the weekend, we had a powerful service by Pastor Joakim Lundqvist!

On the Zone F service, Pastor Joakim preached about DARE, that's right, the dare bands we where on our wrists that says #dare2012 has been given further meaning. Pastor Joakim's sermon has given us such power and wisdom by none other than God Himself. I loved the sermon.

On the main services, he preached about Braveheart. It was a movie about Scotland gaining independance, it revolves around a man by the name of William Wallace. The significance the movie played that impacted our church the most was the final moment, where when William Wallace was about to be tortured to death and was asked to beg for mercy, he not only didn't say mercy, but he cried out with his last breath "FREEDOM!"
That was what we did. Pastor Joakim led us to the word of freedom, freedom over ourselves, over the schools and over the country, with the sword he brought symbolising the cross in which our lord Jesus Christ died upon. It was a revelation I will never forget.

A new generation of bravehearts are already born, we will not let God down, we will NEVER let Him down, for the lord has given us life and the holy spirit. The two most precious gifts the world can have.

"For I have kept the ways of the Lord, And have not wickedly departed from my God. For all his judgements were before me, And I did not put away His statuses from me. I was also blameless before Him, And I kept myself from iniquity. Therefore the Lord has recompensed me according to my rightousness, According to the cleanness of my hands in His sight." - Psalm 18:21-24

Whoos and Whats.

I know I kinda promised New Year photos... But ended up not doing anything about it. HAHA! Oops~ But yeah, I didn't really have the time to blog. I felt like it was a dead space, so I decided to blog now! *anti-climax moment*

So it's 2012, it is NOT the end of the world, I cannot emphasise it enough to people. It's sickening to hear such negativity. I believe in God's word and Pastor How's prophecy, 2012 is the world of order. It's a time where the world will have the least happenings but it's also the best time to find time with God.

Recently I've had a LOT of troubles. Education, family and what not. But I'm learning how to cope with them. It's because I have such wonderful leaders and a forever faithful God that I am able to pull through each ordeal only coming back ever faithful and strong. I love my family-in-christ.

School hasn't been a real good time, it's been stressful for me. I have a lot to catch up on, no time to slacken now, the future that God planned for me is already there for me to aim for, I can't let Him down. I'm doing my best to study as much as I can whenever it's possible, listening in class and participating as much as inhmanly possible. I'm not gonna destroy a future where I can be happy by making it end with regret. There's too much at stake.

Family hasn't been well either. I've had my share of hooha this season, but I've never backed down. Cause I know that God is always looking out for us. I'll pray and seek Him as much as I can, because I know our God is faithful and He will never fail.

So that's been how 2012 has been so far, staying strong and overcoming ordeals being thrown at me. Personally, it's been good so far. We can't always stay the way we want. We need to step out of that comfort zone of ours and really go and do everything that is just. 2012 isn't the end of the world, it's just the beginning of a new one.

Keeping it strong because I know God is with me.
